HAZMAT Transportation
The U.S. DOT requires training for all hazmat employees in the United States, regardless of the amount of HAZMAT shipped, the size of company, or mode of transportation. Training is required every three years for certification as a HAZMAT employee.
If you are a Shipper of HAZMAT by air or by sea, you need
additional training in accordance to IATA (International Air
Transport Association), and IMO (International Maritime Organization).
The good news is - you do not need to attend week long training
programs to fulfill the multimodal training requirements. PTP
can customize a training program that integrates all functions
specific to your mode of transportation and type of HAZMAT
being transported. There are no contact hours specified by
U.S. DOT, IATA or IMO for training!
Let us help you by developing
a program that minimizes your time and financial resources
spent on training. We will help
you develop an agenda that not only meets your core requirements,
but provides a meaningful training experience! Our training
programs meet all standards and are delivered by certified
NESHTA trainers.
