IATA
Dangerous Goods Transportation
In addition to the federal DOT training requirements, shippers
that offer hazmat, or dangerous goods, for transportation
by international air need to follow the International Aviation
Transportation Association (IATA) requirements. PTP offers
in-house training at your facility, training from the most
recent IATA manual and certifying competencies of shippers.
Like the DOT rules, IATA does not specify contact hours,
but
specific items need to be covered, and PTP will again assess
your needs and will propose a cost effective training program.
Need training off site? See Training Schedule.
